guarantee with every diamond purchased. Clarity-enhanced diamonds are
natural diamonds subjected to a treatment process that improves the
overall clarity of the diamond. This treatment process does not change
or alter the color of the diamond in any way.
Stellina D’oro offers a lifetime guarantee on its
clarity-enhanced diamonds that the treatment will not fail and or come
out of the diamond. Diamonds subjected to extreme temperatures are the
exception, as temperatures in excess of 400 degrees Celsius affect the
stability of the treatment.
Consumers or purchasers who intend to have their diamond products
cleaned, re-sized, or augmented in any capacity must alert the jeweler
that the product has been treated and is a clarity-enhanced diamond.
This ensures that the jeweler handles the diamond properly.
Should the treatment come out of the stone for any reason, Stellina
D’oro will re-treat the piece to clarity-enhanced standards without
cost to the client. The diamond returned must include the original
certificate, proper shipping, and appropriate shipping insurance. The
package will be shipped back to the client when completed, free of
charge.
Certificate
Stellina D’oro includes a
certificate from the European Gemological Services Laboratory (EGL) with each
item of jewelry sold. European Gemological Services Laboratory is a
daughter company of the European Gemological Laboratory. The
certification included with the jewelry piece appraises the center
stone of the piece and includes notations on the specifics of the
piece, the weight, proportions, finish, cut, clarity, and degree of
color.
The number on the certificate is laser-inscribed on the diamond piece
by Diascript, enabling the customer or purchaser and associates at
Stellina D’oro to identify the stone as identical to the stone on the
certificate. Each certificate also provides an approximated dollar
amount in American dollars for the value of the diamond for client
confidence and insurance purposes.
Return Policy Stellina D’oro offers an exclusive 15-day return policy.
This allows for ample time for consideration and deliberation as well
as investigation in terms of the product quality. Stellina D’oro
ensures customer satisfaction with all of its products, so offering 15

Free FedEx Shipping on all orders
Stellina D’oro is proud to partner with FedEx to offer free FedEx shipping on all orders.
Orders are delivered within two to three business days of the shipping

Definition of Weight
The
following chart illustrates the definitions of carat weight for
products at Stellina D’oro. The left side of the chart denotes a stated
carat weight and the right side of the chart denotes the diamond carat
value. The total carat weight of each item includes all diamonds in the
piece and is not less than the stated carat weight.
½ carat = 0.50ct – 0.69ct
¾ carat = 0.70ct – 0.89ct
4/4 carat = 1.00ct – 1.19ct
5/4 carat = 1.20ct – 1.44ct
6/4 carat = 1.45ct – 1.99ct
8/4 carat = 2.00ct – 2.19ct
Definition of Colour
The definition of color in a particular diamond relies on a letter
scale. Starting with the letters D, E, and F, the diamond within this
letter scale portion would be essentially colorless. Diamonds with a G,
H, I, or J color scale description are nearly colorless. The scale
progresses as described and the pricing is established within this
scale. Typically diamonds of a higher letter scale (D, etc.) have less
color than those of lower letter scale (J, etc.).
Stellina D’oro uses two letters to state the color
description of its products. A diamond may be described as H-F, for
example. This description would mean that the lowest color the diamond
would have would be the H color and the highest potential color the
diamond would be is the F color. This color description may feature
diamonds that exceed the color scale. For example, the H-F diamond may
feature a diamond that exceeds the F value in terms of its color.
Definition of Clarity
Defining clarity
of diamonds follows a similar scale as defining color. A diamond of S1
clarity is defined as having small inclusions. The scale progresses
downwards with the increasing value of the number, for example SI1 has
very slight inclusions and SI2 has slightly more inclusions than an SI1
diamond.
Stellina D’oro defines clarity using a scale that may
state the diamond as having clarity of SI1-2, for example. This would
mean that, like the scale for color, the lowest clarity the diamond
would be is SI2 and the highest would be SI1.
